Axxon PSIM-based security system installed at Wroclaw Main Station in Poland

Ensuring passenger safety is the highest priority for management at Wrocław Main Station, the rail hub of one of Poland's largest cities. So selection of a video management system was not a choice that they made lightly. Like other mass transport facilities, the station sees enormous passenger flows. This dictated some of the requirements that management had for any prospective surveillance solution: full camera coverage, precise video analytics, and integration of access control and fire/security alarms into a single seamless infrastructure.

DigiTec Expo 2014 recently marked the event's 10th anniversary from 3 to 5 October in Yerevan, Armenia. While AxxonSoft did not participate directly as an exhibitor, those attending could see for themselves the real-world robustness of AxxonSoft-powered security solutions. Among the products demonstrated at the event was Retail Intellect, which is specially designed for the needs of retail operators and was used to count the number of expo visitors.

The Security Essen 2014 industry expo was recently held in Germany from 23 to 26 September, maintaining its traditional status as a benchmark of the health and progress of the security industry. Even a cursory look at the expo schedule proves the enormous impact of IT, as seen in advances in the security industry. Evidence includes software from AxxonSoft, which took part in Security Essen this year for the fifth time. The company presented Axxon VMS 4.0, as well as industry-specific solutions powered by the Axxon PSIM software platform.
AxxonSoft participates in Romanian security seminar

A seminar on the latest security technologies was held on 20 August in Bucharest (Romania), drawing 25 representatives of leading companies active in design and installation of video surveillance systems. Participants included Fedor Mendelev, Sales Manager at AxxonSoft Eastern Europe, and Sergei Pichulin, a colleague from partner company RIVA, who demonstrated a joint solution powered by the Axxon PSIM from AxxonSoft and IP cameras from RIVA.

AxxonSoft is actively working with Suprema Inc. to create joint supported solutions for site security. Work has already been completed for integration of Suprema hardware with the Axxon PSIM software platform from AxxonSoft. Thanks to integration support, it is possible to create a seamless integrated IT infrastructure with minimal expenses and efforts needed for adding access control functionality.
